This is a picture of an ice cube on my marble countertop. I had slightly melted it before the photo. the lighting i used was 2 overhead lights in my kitchen. they were turned up to about half power.

Motion Assignment (Gimp #3)

In this assignment we learned what settings to use on motion shots. we also learned how to take good motion shots so as to get the whole background blurry or a different way to make the background in focus and the subject blurred.

In this assignment we were asked to take 3 pictures of an area, 
overlapping around 20% of the photo, then challenged to
 unite the photos into one panoramic style photo.

In this assignment we were asked to take 2 pictures, one from studio lighting, and one from natural lighting n the staircase. We were then asked to back a border and frame.

Gimp Assignment 1

This is a recreation of the pop-art style of picture used by Andy Warhol. We used gimp and were challenged to make each section of the portrait a different color.





I learned more about gimp that what i already knew. i learned how to do some cool color effects and how to duplicate cleanly with precise measurements. also some other basic aspects of gimp.
